New Version of VisualCADCAM: 5.2 Visual, a long time running CAM development company, presents the new Visual CADCAM v. 5.2 ! The user interface is based on the project tree view: the user has direct access to the operating sequence, "drag & drop" and "copy / paste" features are available as well as direct machining modification. The project tree view also allows the user to verify maching times and optimize tool paths. Visual CADCAM 5.2 offers a complete integration of the CAD and CAM modules reducing the time needed to complete every machanical detail, including a new geometric "feature" option used to define solids from which the CAM module automatically detects all the necessary information to generate pockets, drainings, punctures etc. With the v.5.2 new technological functions such as surface milling, ramp contouring, profile projection on surfaces etc. Are implemented. The created technology can be saved as an operative model in order to be applied to other geometries, reducing the time needed to program similar details. The CAM solution allows to easily access to milling, lathe, turning milling, EDM, sheet machining and laser cut technologies for machines up to 6 axes. Custom new post-processors have been designed to match the most common machine tools and anthropomorphic robots on the market. The integrated simulation module enables the creation of all machine parts and the display of the real tool movements, allowing the operator to verify the machining outcome with great accuracy. A material removal module is available on request. The Visual platform is completely customizable and expandable through "addins" matching any user specific necessity. This version is fully compatible with the new OS Microsoft(r) Windows Vista. |
